Rich Dark Ganache Chocolate Cake

An ultimate chocolate cake - gf perfect for Father's Day!

It's unbelievably chocolaty and fudgy almost soufflé like and rich! Top with rich dark ganache! It's a treat for a chocolate lover and fuss free!!

Here's the recipe...    


1.  Melt butter and dark chocolate over a double boiler and let it sit to cool

2.  Start whipping the whites on a low speed, once foamy start adding sugar, a tbsp at time and whisking thoroughly in between the additions till all nice and glossy and forms stiff peaks

3.  Add egg yolks to cooled chocolate mix and whisk till combined

4.  Fold in the egg. Whites

5.  Do not over fold. It's ok to have a streak or two of whites but do not deflate the mix

6.  Pour the mix into your prepared springfoam pan and bake @135 c for 45-50 mins

7.  Let it cool in the oven for another 30 mins then cool outside the oven till it comes at room temperature

8.  Run a knife around the edges of the pan and release the cake from the pan

9.  Melt chocolate and cream together in a double boiler till smooth

10.      Let it cool down for 15-20 mins to room temperature then spread it over the top of the cake.
Decadent and indulgent cake is all ready to enjoy!


  Ingredient List

  • 6 tbsp Butter
  • 6 separated Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 225 gms chopped Dark chocolate
  • 1/3 cup chopped, For Ganache Dark chocolate
  • 1/3 cup heavy Whipping cream
