Have you ever went searching for something toothsome and found the same old bhat dal niramish torkari grinning on your dinning table.?
Well. I did. today .

But I decided to make myself something tasty yet very very easy and thus came up with this recipe.

Just threw in a couple of things I had in my pantry and made Gondhoraj Paneer ( as I like to call it xD) out of it.



·     Pour vegetable oil in a kadai and add the bay leaf and dry red chilli to temper the oil.

·     Add in cloves and green cardamom and let it sizzle.

·     Add in chopped garlic and green chilli and fry until they turn golden.

·     Add in ginger chopped and saute for a minute or so.

·     Add in the capsicum and saute it.

·     Add in the cumin powder and coriander powder and saute it for 10-15 seconds and add a little bit of water to avoid the burning of the spices.

·     Now lower the flame and add the beaten curd and stir thoroughly to prevent curdling.

·     Add salt and pepper to it.

·     Now add in the paneer pieces ( I added them directly, if you want you can fry them before as well) and stir.

·     Turn off the flame and finish it off with a spoon of nice fragrant gondhoraj lebur rosh.

  Ingredient List

  • 100 gms , cut in 1 cubes Paneer
  • 1/4th cup , julienned Capsicum
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 6-7 cloves, finely chopped Garlic
  • 1" piece , finely chopped Ginger
  • 2 small , finely chopped Green chilly
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tbsp Curd
  • 2 pcs Dry red chilli
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 4-5 Cloves
  • 3-4 Green Cardamom
  • as per your taste Pepper powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1-2 tbsp Gondhoraj lebu juice
