Tried to recreate a dish I ate at one of the dhabas.

You would love the texture of chickpeas and chicken togather in a smooth tomato gravy.


Step 1- Take 2 tbs of ghee, add 1 tsp of cumin seeds, let it splutter. Then add 1 chopped onion, 1 tsp garlic paste, 1 tsp ginger paste. Let it saute.

Step 2- Add 750 gms of clean, curry cut chicken and let it cook in high flame for about 5 mins. Then add 2 chopped medium tomatoes and 1 tbs tomato paste. Add 1 tbs coriander powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tbs chilli powder. Shut the lid and cook for 20 mins. Add 1 cup boiled chickpeas ( 75% whole and 25% mashed) 
Step 3- Add 1 tsp garam masala powder, split green chillies and coriander leaves.

  • 2 tbsp chopped Coriander Leaves
