Crispy Bhindy, a change from your every day taste!


Cut Okra into thin slices ( quarter) remove seeds and pat them dry. Add salt, chilli powder, turmeric and amchur powder.

Lightly coat it with gram flour ( Besan).

Keep it aside for 10-15 mins.

In a pan take oil and deep fry it till Okra becomes darker green and masala becomes golden. About 3-4 mins in medium flame.

Serve by squeezing a lemon on it and garnishing with some coriander leaves.



  Ingredient List

  • 250 gms Okra (Bhindi)
  • 1/2 tbsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Amchur
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tbsp Gram flour (Besan)
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp for garnishing Coriander leaves
