Fish curry with coconut milk

Try out this medium spicy Fish curry, rich in protein and perfect for dinner!


1. Heat oil. Add curry leaves and crackle fenugreek and mustard seeds. Add onions and ginger garlic paste. Make a paste with red chili powder, turmeric, salt and oil. Add this to the pan. Stir everything till the mixture starts releasing oil.

2. Add diced raw mangos (and pot tamarind if your mango is not completely raw). Pour in thin coconut milk and bring it to a boil. Add fish pieces and salt to this. Cover and cook on low flame. Serve hot with white rice!

  • 1 cup, pieces Fish
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 10-12 leaves Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup, diced Raw Mangoes
  • to taste Salt
